Bob Saget Reprising Role as Danny Tanner on Fuller House
Get ready for lots of Danny Tanner hugs! Bob Saget is officially reprising his role on the Netflix Full House reboot, Fuller House.
“Last but not least-best piece of casting yet. The great @bobsaget will be joining our show on @Netflix – this completes the perfect reunon!” John Stamos tweeted on Thursday, May 28.
Correcting himself, he added: “oh and REUNION – sorry i’m tired – been a long day – and let’s not be so picky – you want perfect spelling- follow Oprah.”
Saget, 59, didn’t waste any time retweeting the news. “How did you get this information?” he teased to Stamos, 51. “Kidding! Love you Jesse!”
The comedian now joins Stamos (who also is producing the 13-episode show), Candace Cameron Bure, Andrea Barber, Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier, and Lori Loughlin for the highly anticipated series. It was confirmed last week that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen would not be heading back to the fictional San Francisco set.

Sweetin and Barber, meanwhile, are already hard at work. On Thursday, Sweetin posted an Instagram photo of the gals on set of Fuller House. “Also reunited with Andrea,” she captioned the smiling snapshot.
