Jeb Bush Slow Jams the News With Jimmy Fallon: Watch!

Publish date: 2024-08-26

Oh yeah! Governor Jeb Bush joined Jimmy Fallon and The Roots’ Black Thought to slow jam the news on Tuesday, June 16’s Tonight Show, just one day after announcing his bid for the presidency.

While Bush narrated his news points (mainly, his decision to enter the presidential race) Fallon and Black Thought responded to the announcements more lyrically (and in phrases dripping with sexual innuendo) while Bush stood behind, trying to smile as the audience collapsed in hysterics.

“After months of being a total caucus tease, Jeb finally made up his mind and quit beating around the Bush,” Fallon jammed.

“Jeb really wants to get in the White House, but not as bad as Obama wants out,” Black Thought added in song.

“Now that you’re fully in, what makes you think you’ve got what it takes to go all the way?” Fallon asked, suggestively, in a deep husky voice.

After giving his political response, Fallon replied, “You gotta listen to my man, Jebediah. He’s got lots of experience, down south….”

As Bush continued to offer up his political manifesto, Fallon and Black Thought carried on pushing the boundaries of their responses. “You gotta listen to Little Jebby, because when it comes to debating, he’s a master,” Fallon jammed in a low, soulful voice. “He’s a master-debator,” Black Thought sang, as Bush smiled awkwardly.

Things moved to an even friskier level when Bush addressed viewers in Spanish and the jam turned more Latino in rhythm! Watch the whole hilarious video above.
