Prior to the Sex and the City reboot, And Just Like That…, hitting our TV screens, the biggest question on fans’ lips was what would happen to Kim Cattrall’s character Samantha Jones.

Big and Carrie’s final moments
As most of us know by now, the end of the first episode of the reboot concludes with Carrie returning from a musical recital only to find her husband John (aka Mr Big) lifeless on the floor outside their apartment’s bathroom.
But after Big suffered a devastating heart attack, the scene doesn’t show Carrie calling emergency services for her husband. Why? WHY????
Well, now she has answered that question.

Carrie DID call 911
According to star Sarah Jessica Parker, Carrie DID call 911 in the moment she finds Big… we just didn’t get to see it.
“Of course she called 911,” the star who plays Carrie told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live.
And while most of us might’ve missed it, the hint that she did make the tragic call came in the scenes that followed.
“Didn’t you see the people behind moving the body out?” she asked.
But fans were right to question it, SJP claims, because there was a bit of a delay in her reaction to seeing her husband dead on the floor.
“In my head, she struggled through this moment and tried to get him to be responsive, and then she came to her senses – I’m going to say after about two to three seconds. Of course, she called 911 and got all the help she needed from professionals.”
